In the future, Everything goes retro

I stumbled across this display on Tumblr and it looks pretty awesome. Pretty unique way to display something three-dimensional. A lot more interesting than just sitting on a shelf, I think. How do you display your collections?

Now this is interesting - display AND reuse, and in such a different way!

As seen on kitschyliving.tumblr.com

Those camera planter are really cool! I can totally see Edson having those.

The cameras displayed on the wall remind me of Toaster Oven with all the vintage toasters on the wall. A 2D painting or photo is cool, but nothing beats looking at the real thing.

I don't really have a collection going at the moment and I don't have a wall big enough for some of my fascinations. This will have to do. 1 round sheet of glass and 1 wheel.

That, is genius. I suppose the only "collection" I have that isn't scattered around the house and covered in dust is my hair flower collection. I keep them clipped to a ribbon that I've wrapped around two stationary items. I can't find my camera ATM.... o.O But I'll make sure to take a picture when I do!

LOVE this:

This just looks cool:

This room is full of collections, but the vinyl ceiling is awesome and very creative. Seen - and even done this on a wall but never thought of doing the ceiling! I think in a room less cluttered, this would look really great - and even cool for a nursery, I think!
