- I was born in 1958, my mom was a "Beauty Operator in the early 60's, All of Sally Draper's clothes were much like what I wore as a young girl. I am happily married to Lance and we now have 3 retro businesses. www.oldschoolpinups.com & www.seattleretrophotography.com I am the hair, makeup and wardrobe stylist, Lance is the photographer. He uses old fashion Hollywood style hot lights to create the perfect vintage look from the the 20's through the 60's. With Vintage style sets like- the mid century Bachelor pad, the Exotic Tiki Room The Oriental Bar and the fluffy pink poodle boudoir. Our work looks just like it was created in the eras of yesteryear. I teach classic Burlesque and have www.kindergartenofburlesque.com
Our studio is located in a 1958 Elementary School in the "Kindergarten Room" of a Paul Thiry designed building. He was Head architect of the 62 World's Fair in Seattle.
We both really appreciate your site and finds on Retro Lifestyle. VERY COOL stuff. Thank you for doing what you do.
We just added a "MOD" set. Still having costumes made, but it will be a Mid Century throw back to Tomorrow World! We'll stay tuned to Retro Lifestyle. Thanks again! XO- Trixie Lane & Lance Wagner
