According to the Hubbie, my vintage collection is getting too big for our home. How can that be?

You can never have a too big vintage collection! Surely. Okay, so my wardrobe won't close due to at least 4 large petticoat dresses in the classic 50s style, and the jukebox does take up a lot of room. but it's jukebox for crying out loud, it's the coolest thing ever.

I think Hubbie is mainly jealous of my taste and talent at finding all these great items at low prices. Yes, I spend nearly my whole life at flea markets and on ebay looking for the next great vintage deal!

I do have a few pictures and neon signs, that I'd love to be able to hang up, so I decided that, for once, Hubbie was right. Just not the way he thought he was right. But not as he thought. Instead of there being too much vintage in the house, there's not enough house for the vintage. An area dedicated solely to vintage was needed, and I had just the place in mind.

In October, Hubbie insisted that we needed a garden shed, as he was really going to get into gardening and plant loads of bulbs ready for spring. To be a great gardener, he naturally needn't all the kit, including spades, forks, little spade things, secateurs and a shed to put it all in. You can probably tell that I'm not much of a gardener. anyway, I got dragged to look at thousands of garden sheds until he found the perfect one. So perfect that after using it twice he hasn't been in since. I have to give him some credit, as he did plant 40 bulbs, but has since lost interest.

An empty garden shed was just waiting to be filled with things, vintage treasures to be precise. It's now a fantastic little sanctuary of all the things I love. The jukebox is all set up and ready,as well as my neon signs and several of my pictures of 50s stars, signed by the way!.(Elvis and Marilyn are my absolute treasures).  There's an electric heater so I can spend hours listening to music whilst lounging in my pink Cadillac sofa. Okay, the sofa's not vintage, but it's in the vintage style, and I adore it.

Now, Hubbie is complaining that I'm spending too much time in the shed. There's no pleasing some Hubbies.
